Minimal disassembly is required, mostly because I need to get it fit into a shipping box. Shipping weight could be around 96 lb) The listing photos shows the sander with 54" long sanding belt. It is a solid quality, full-featured, space saving, compact unit. I assume each buyer has a basic understanding of what is belt sander and how it works. I am saying this because there is no manual or part list, etc. Each unit is build and assembled individually. It is not a result of mass production. No unit will be sent without going through testing . It will be put together, mounted on table, powered by the motor and run. At this stage adjustment is done, to make sure that every part is working fine. When unpacked and assembled together the buyer needs to practice how to adjust sanding belt tension and learn to adjust tracking wheel. Later on you may find it useful to make certain improvements, like perhaps spark trap, eye and V-belt shields, etc, . If you own a compressor I would also recommend blowing the dust off regularly in order to keep the work space nice and clean. Additions are possible like perhaps rubber contact wheel or small wheel attachment.
